Chlorella:  The Chlorophyll Champ

One of the most ancient algae's on the Earth; these "chlorella," meaning "little green" are known as the "King of Alkaline Forming Foods."  Chlorella is a single-celled green algae found in freshwater ponds and lakes and it boasts the highest concentration of chlorophyll of all the Earth's food.  Chlorella contains 60% protein, including all essential amino and fatty acids and it is particularly rich in phenylalanine, lysine, and branched chain aminos:  leucine, isoleucine, and valine.  A whole food, it's one of the highest natural sources of nucleicacides and contains 20 vitamins and minerals including iron, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, beta carotene, and vitamins A, B-Complex, B12, C, E, and K.  Chlorella contains a unique group of substances derived from its nucleus known as chlorella growth factor (CGF), which stimulates the immune system and promotes healing of damaged tissue.  Chlorella is truly a green super-food and it is available in tablet and granules.
