Cranberry Crisp

  • 6 large granny smith apples

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

  • 1-1/2 cups apple juice

  • 2 cups granola

  • 1/4 cup sesame oil (not toasted)

  • 1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and core apples, but do not peel them. Rinse
and drain cranberries. Slice apples into 1/4 inch slices and place in a bowl with
cranberries. Mix them around with your hands and then pour into an oiled 9 by
13 inch glass or ceramic baking dish. Pour apple juice over apple/cranberry mixture.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl, mixing until blended. Sprinkle
over apple/cranberry mixture and press lightly in place. Bake for 30 minutes.  Serves 6.
